Privacy Policy
Last updated October 16, 2026
This policy explains what Erase My Ex (erasemyex.app), run by TukaSolutions LLC (“we”, “us”), collects and why.
The short version
- We don’t store your photos.
- There are no accounts.
- No face recognition, no biometric templates.
- We don’t sell your data.
Your photos
Your photos stay in your browser while you work. When you tap a person and erase, the photo is sent to our server and to our AI provider, fal.ai, only to make the edit. The result is sent straight back to your browser. We don’t save photos or results to a disk or database. Your browser session is wiped after 1 hour, or sooner when you close the tab. fal.ai may process photos briefly to perform the edit, under its own terms and privacy policy.
No biometrics
You choose who to remove by tapping. We only work out the outline of what you tapped. We never identify anyone, match faces, or create face templates or other biometric data.
Safety screening
Photos may be checked automatically for nudity before editing. The check returns a score and nothing is kept.
What we do collect
- Basic server logs: things like time of request, IP address, browser type, and error details. We keep these to a minimum to keep the site running and stop abuse.
- Newsletter: if you sign up, we keep your email address (and when you signed up) only to send you updates. Unsubscribe or ask us to delete it anytime.
- Payment details: Stripe processes payments. We receive limited information from Stripe, such as the purchase amount, pack, date, and a transaction reference. We never see your full card number.
How we use it
To make your edits, deliver what you paid for, send the newsletter if you asked for it, keep the service secure, fix problems, and meet legal duties.
Cookies
We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies. We may use essential browser storage to keep your session and credits working. To prevent abuse of the free trial photo, we store salted one-way hashes of your IP address (or its network prefix) and of a browser fingerprint hash (built from things like browser type, screen size, time zone and a canvas test). We never store the raw IP or fingerprint, and these hashes are deleted after at most 30 days. Stripe may set its own cookies on its checkout page for payment and fraud prevention.
Who else handles data
- fal.ai: runs the AI models that outline and remove people.
- Stripe: handles checkout and payments.
- Railway: hosts our servers.
Each only gets what it needs for its job. We may also share information if the law requires it or to protect people’s safety.
We don’t sell your data
We don’t sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
How long we keep things
Photos: not kept by us. Free-trial abuse-prevention hashes: up to 30 days. Logs: only as long as needed for security and troubleshooting. Newsletter email: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Payment records: as long as tax and accounting rules require.
Your rights (including CCPA and GDPR)
Depending on where you live, including California (CCPA/CPRA) and the EU/UK (GDPR), you may have the right to know what we hold about you, get a copy, correct it, delete it, object to or limit certain uses, and not be treated differently for using these rights. Under GDPR, we rely on performing our service for you, our legitimate interest in running and securing it, legal obligations, and your consent (for the newsletter). You can also complain to your local data protection authority. To make a request, email privacy@tukasolutions.com. We may need to verify the request first.
Security
We use HTTPS and keep what we collect small. No system is perfectly secure, but not storing photos means there’s much less at risk.
Children
Erase My Ex is for adults 18 and over. We don’t knowingly collect information from children. If you think a child has given us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
Changes
If we update this policy, we’ll post the new version here and change the date at the top.
